In 1705, English optician Edward Scarlett opened his eponymous store in Dean Street, Soho. By 1727 he had invented the contemporary spectacle frame.
Specialising in bespoke and custom production, every frame is individually handmade in London, with design consultations available by appointment at The Ocularium.
